Default Is Divine Spirit viable in RA/TA?

I was thinking about something like this:

13 div, 14 prot, 3 wild

1.RoF
2.Guardian
3.SB/PS/SoA
4.ZB
5.Dismiss Condition
6.Divine Spirit
7.Serpent's Quickness
8.Blessed Aura

Even if DS get's removed the build is not usless. If energy is runing out cancel blessed aura or replace it with remove hex/veil?. Is this viable or Gole is the way to go?

In 4v4, your team should be able to play well enough that you don't need e-management in the first place. But if you do need e-management, why use three slots when GoLE does the same thing in one slot?

you can use DS without SQ or Blessed Aura as you listed (useless). 11 seconds (+ enchanting mod / HRT set) should be enough.

gole cannot always be used if you need a stance. that's when DS pops in.

although gole is terrible for me since i stopped using 10e prots in arenas. DS is key.

just don't forget rof (guardian) covers when facing necros or mes (high chance for corrupt / shatters)

We are pretty bad and I thought about DS because I always run out of energy, that is if we don't get owned to fast. I had better succeses with my resto rit which has no energy problems(Offering).

I'll follow Mokone's advice and use only 5e prots. Is this build better?

RoF, Guardian, SoA, ZB, dismiss cond, veil, div spirit

What should I take in the last slot, shieldind hands or something from tactics/shadow arts? And replace veil with a stance/return?

Personally, I prefer GoLE to DS even with only 5e prots. ZB+GoLE is pretty decent energy management.

I use GoLE + Divine Spirit when I play Blessed Light, cuz I enjoy spamming skills.

Only reason to use divine spirit at all is on an SoD bar for self heal spamming and for synergy with deny hexes.

Nah. Deny Hex. It includes itself in the recharge, and with divine spirit it's good.

That's a tough combo to use in arenas though because you'll still need holy veil to defend against shutdown hexes. So that's basically 3 slots devoted to 1 task. It's difficult to spare that much room on a monk arena bar. Could work in TA if your build has off-monk hex removal and you can drop veil.

I was referring to it over remove hex (which is not like veil).

I use both [skill]Divine Spirit[/skill] And [skill]Glyph of lesser energy[/skill] just because I have an extra skill slot. I should probably change it for another hex removal though...

(Sorry I like using those [skill] things.)

They work much better than just listing the skills. If you ask me. I either use GoLE or 5 energy skills<_<>_>

Also I usually bond in RA still. So I usually don't have enregy problems.

well since sod has a 10 sec cool down atm, i see almost no use for DS with it..by the time u can get your 2nd sod Ds i just about done...

anyhow..if u take Ds u would want spammable skills...

[skill]Spirit Bond[/skill] [skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Shield Guardian[/skill]

as i see it there are 2 ways of using DS. one is spamming the the hell out of your skillz i.e prot everyone with bond/prot spirt etc.. which you will end probably with not to much energy gain but will be more of a push out for your team once everyone is prot and happy , the other way is playing your normal play, and gain energy trough DS. anyhow its still a good viable skills. that build was better with sod/Gole. atm is hard to find a skill that rewarded your build for so much energy at such short period of time (beside spirit bond).life sheet is viable but.. 7 sec cool down is not that fastest one out there also.
yet when u face nasty enc removel this can pale...u spend more energy covering your DS then doing something useful with it.
